🎃 Busy Day at Iredell ISD – October 31 🏈

Dear Iredell community and visitors,

October 31 promises to be a lively and exciting day at Iredell ISD! School will dismiss at 3:30 PM following our pep rally, with buses and parent pickup operating as normally as possible amid expected congestion.

🎃 The annual Iredell PTO Trunk or Treat will take place on the east side of the parking lot, while our school buses will be lined up in the middle of the lot to help divide traffic and activities.

🏈 Football fans, take note: the Three Way vs. Iredell JH game kicks off at 5:00 PM, followed by the varsity matchup at 7:00 PM. Football parking will be available on the west side of the parking lot, and Three Way will park their buses along the curb on the west side of the gym.

All Trunk or Treat games and activities are free of charge except for the cake walk and goldfish ping pong toss ($1 per entry). We appreciate our PTO and community for supporting these activities. Iredell ISD gate and concessions are cash only. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we celebrate a spirited day of community fun and Dragon pride!

This helps us ensure every student is safely on campus and accounted for each morning. 📢 FAFSA Workshop Update! Please note — the date has been moved to Tuesday, November 4th! Join us in the Iredell ISD Cafeteria from 5:00–7:00 p.m. to get help completing your FAFSA for Fall 2026.

💗 Pink Out Spirit Day – Thursday! 💗 We will not have a pep rally this Thursday, but we’ll still show our support by having our Pink Out Spirit Day! Let’s fill the halls with pink as we show support for breast cancer awareness and our Dragon JH and High School football teams! This adjustment allows our cheerleaders to attend Fields of Faith on Wednesday evening and our athletes to still get in their volleyball practice before their upcoming games. We’re also planning something extra special — at our next home football game on Friday, October 24, the cheerleaders will lead a meaningful Halftime Recognition to honor local breast cancer survivors. We encourage everyone to wear pink that night as we fill the stands in support of those who have fought or are fighting this battle and to cheer on our Dragons! 💕🐉

🚒🔥 It’s Fire Prevention Week! 🔥🚒 This week is all about teaching our students the importance of fire safety. Today, our junior high and high school students are visiting the Iredell Volunteer Fire Department, and our elementary students will get their turn on Wednesday! A huge THANK YOU to our incredible volunteer firefighters for taking time to educate our students while continuing to keep our community safe. We appreciate you! ❤️💛🖤
