🎉 Big News for Iredell ISD! 🎉
The Texas Education Agency has officially released the 2025 Accountability Ratings, and we are proud to share that Iredell ISD earned an A with an overall score of 95! 🐉💛🖤
This achievement didn’t happen by chance. It takes every single staff member working together, from the classroom to the cafeteria, the front office to the bus driver, to make this possible.
We’ve made significant growth from our 2023–2024 rating, and this milestone reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, teachers, staff, parents, and community. Every classroom, every lesson, every effort — it all adds up.
Let’s keep raising the bar, Dragons! 🐉🔥

Iredell Faculty and Staff is looking forward to a great 25-26 school year!

Updated football schedule as of 8/4/25

It was a great camp for our High School Cheerleaders! We had four girls try out for All American and they all four made it. That hasn’t happened in Iredell for quite a while. It’s a pretty big deal!
All-American Cheer is a title awarded to cheerleaders who demonstrate exceptional skills and talents in the sport of cheerleading. The criteria for being recognized as an All-American cheerleader include:
1. Mastery of skills: All-American cheerleaders possess exceptional cheerleading skills, such as stunts, jumps, and tumbling. They showcase technical proficiency and a high level of competence.
2. Leadership: All-American cheerleaders are often noted for their leadership qualities, both on and off the mat. They are role models and motivators for their teammates, helping to foster a positive team environment.
3. Performance: All-American cheerleaders consistently deliver outstanding performances during competitions and demonstrate the ability to stand out and captivate an audience.
4. Sportsmanship and teamwork: All-Americans display good sportsmanship and promote a spirit of teamwork among their peers. They provide support for their teammates and contribute to the overall success of their team.
All four are now eligible to participate in exclusive events, parades, and performances where All-American cheerleaders are featured to represent Iredell ISD!
They are all four ready to travel! They just can’t decide where! 🤪😂
Gracey Sheffield is Captain this year and Brinley Morrow is Co-Captain. They both have been invited to perform at the 2025 Varsity Spirit Spectacular at Walt Disney World in November!

Mackenzie Skipper and Jordan Gutierrez were presented with the “Honesty and Integrity” award this morning at the Iredell Masonic Lodge.
The Honesty and Integrity Award, presented by the Iredell Masonic Lodge, is a recognition of outstanding moral character. When Mackenzie Skipper and Jordan Gutierrez received this honor, it meant they were recognized for consistently demonstrating truthfulness, strong ethical values, and doing what is right—even when it’s difficult or when no one is watching.
In the Masonic tradition, honesty reflects a person’s commitment to truth, sincerity, and fairness. Integrity speaks to someone’s unwavering commitment to doing what’s right, not just when it’s easy, but especially when it’s hard. It means standing firm in your values—not going along with something just because others are—and leading by example.
This award highlights that Mackenzie and Jordan are not only leaders among their peers but also role models in the school and community who live by values that inspire trust, courage, and respect.
