We are incredibly proud to recognize Halo Valentine Bell, a 12th grade student from Iredell High School, for her outstanding artistic achievement!


Halo recently participated in the 23rd Annual Bosque Arts Center High School Art Show, a competitive event featuring talented student artists from across Bosque County and surrounding schools. Her piece, titled “Heart for Brains,” received an Honorable Mention at the reception today.

This juried exhibition accepts only original artwork and showcases a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil, drawing, pastel, and mixed media. Halo’s piece was entered in the Watercolor/Tempera category, where her creativity, technique, and unique artistic voice truly stood out.


The artwork itself is powerful and thought-provoking, demonstrating both technical skill and emotional depth. Opportunities like this allow our students to share their creativity with the broader community and highlight the incredible talent coming from Iredell ISD.
