Students do not have regularly scheduled homework each week. Work brought home by students, which should be placed in the student's green folder, is work not completed in class. This work is expected to be returned to school completed the following day.
Beginning next six weeks, some students may have additional practice which will be sent home to be completed then returned. The first time additional practice is sent home it will accompany a note. There will be times when a student has a project assigned. This project will accompany a note. Any work not completed at home will be completed in the student's free time and will be graded according to the student handbook policy stated below.
In the event of late daily work not due to an absence, simply caused by neglect on the student's part to complete the assignment on time, the student will receive a grade of no more than 70. To receive the 70 the student must turn the work in the next class period. If the student fails to turn the work in the next class period, the grade will be a zero. Acceptance of late work on major projects will be at the discretion of the teacher.
