Bio:
I have lived in Iredell most of my life and had the privilege of attending all 12 years of public school here.  I graduated in 1982, and I worked in various other positions before going back to college to obtain my teaching certificate. I graduated from Tarleton State University in August 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I graduated in December, 2006 with my Master's of Education degree in Educational Administration. I am applying for Principal's Certification at this time.  I havve taught in Iredell ISD since August 2000 beginning with English/LA 2-6, 5th grade and currently English/LA 7-12. I also teach some BCIS & technology classes.

Professional Objective:

Our district will project an image of pride, freedom, faith and all those qualities that our nation was founded upon.
 
Personal:
Divorced, grad student, mountain and nature lover, country girl, six-man football fan, JH, HS basketball fan, and a believer in being a lifelong learner.
 
Children:
Son, Trey, 8th grader, 13 years old - member of Jr. High Dragons Football & Basketball teams
