| Biography: I
graduated from Hico I.S.D. in 1982. After
graduation, I worked at several different jobs.
In 1991, I gave up my job at the First National
Bank in Hico to be a full-time mother.
Around 1995, I worked part-time as treasurer for
the First Baptist Church in Iredell. In
2002, my youngest child was starting school and
I took a job in the lunchroom at Iredell I.S.D.
I worked there for 2 years. During the
summer of 2004, I became a certified teacher
aide and worked that next year in the
kindergarten classroom. In the summer of
2005, I was trained and certified to be
facilitator for the C.E.I. program. It is
a reading program that helps readers who are
behind and need an extra boost, dyslexia
students, ESL students, and students who have
trouble spelling. It is a great program
and I enjoy teaching it. |
